Mission:1, Working as part of the Asia Pacific Business Unit of Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy (SGRE), the Presales Engineer is responsible for the preparation of budgets for the execution phase of new projects in all countries across the Asia Pacific region. 2, The Presales Engineer must coordinate with internal and external stakeholders during the Presales phase of new sales projects in order to plan and deliver accurate and cost effective solutions, enabling SGRE to be competitive, whilst also being in a position to deliver the project successfully.
Job Responsibility:1, Timely delivery of project budgets for logistics and construction, enabling SGRE to be competitive, whilst also being in a position to deliver the project successfully.2, Preparation of Presales documents and release of Request for Tender to Purchasing. Communication and negotiation with suppliers to achieve the most desirable outcome for SGRE.3, Coordination and liaison with other internal departments and Regional Units as part of the Presales process, including sales, purchasing and project management4, Identifying optimization opportunities in coordination with internal departments and suppliers. Liaison with the Presales community within SGRE regarding improved processes and tools. 5, Input on the project delivery program/schedule to meet the project milestone requirements
Qualification Required
1, Degree in relevant engineering. Preferably additional commerce qualification.Minimum 5 years experience in transport, project management or Presales management2, Knowledge in project management methods and techniques, commercial management, export control and supply management.3, Excellent IT skills including MS Office/Sharepoint4, Experience in wind industry is desirable5, Excellent communication skills in English is essential, both verbally and written.6, Experience in project scheduling using MS Project/Primavera an advantage.
