As one of its fundamental business, WorleyParsons Power group includes over 2,800 dedicated staff in 21 offices distributed in12 countries. The regional headquarters are located in Edmonton, Sophia, Reading, Singapore, Sydney and Beijing. Over the past 100 years, WorleyParsons has designed 595 power stations totaling over 153,300 MWe covering nuclear, coal-fire, heavy oil, GTCC (IGCC), and renewable. Additionally, WorleyParsons has experience with Air Quality Control(Sox/Nox/mercury) and ultra-high voltage Transmission & Distribution. With the initiation of stepping into China, regarding the 1000MW class Super-critical power plant engineering, the technology transferring contract signed on 8/April/2006 with Shandong PDI, Shanxi PDI, Henan PDI and Luneng PDI. The cooperation Memo was also reached by WP and Fujian PDI.
