Job Summary:
Responsible for the electrical design, engineering, installation, **** and commissioning of all electrical equipment, systems and sub-systems for HV, MV and LV, for generators, sub-stations and associated equipment from concept to hand-over
To undertake consulting, technical advisory, OE, PMC, EPCM and O+M roles at senior engineering level
Direct report and support to the Project Engineering Manager
Duties and Responsibilities:

Review and implement detailed engineering system load flow and fault studies, protection, short circuit, stability and safety classification
Check and review of the electrical engineering design of the power island, its components and associated equipment - electrical design calculations - voltage drop, equipment sizing, lighting, earthling, cable sizing, etc.
Development of load lists, equipment lists, electrical power distribution concepts, schematic diagrams, layouts
Electrical protection and relay selection, setting, coordination.
Specifications and data sheets for electrical equipment
Technical bid evaluation, Vendor drawing review, Factory inspection ****s on electrical equipment
Technical supervision of electrical designers and draftsmen
Preparation/review of technical specifications, requisitions for procurement and cost estimates
Preparation of schedules, plan and work procedures
Prepare the scope of work for all electrical sub-systems and BOP
Co-ordinate engineering design and interface engineering between the power island and all sub-systems and BOP
Oversee the preparation technical drawings and documentation
Supervise all aspects of engineering works
Prepare technical proposals and estimation of workloads
Direct focus and support to clients
Project management and construction supervision (as required)

Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or above.
Minimum10 years’ of Engineering, Construction and Commissioning
experience in Thermal Power Plants, Combined Cycle Power Plants or Cogeneration Plants
Familiar with GT-Pro, Smart Plant system etc.
Familiar with Chinese Code & STandards, as well as International Code & Standards, i.e Americal Standard, European Standards and British Standards, etc.
Very good communicator
Fluent written and spoken English
